What problem data deliverables solve

Not being able to state an equipment's condition is where management starts to fail: how much longer this pump will last, where this line's downtime losses mainly lie, how well accuracy has held since the last overhaul - without data, the answers are all guesswork. Data deliverables turn guesswork into numbers: baseline data sets the starting point, monthly reports track the trend, and feedback proves the effect.

The value of data lies in comparison: against the baseline to see the rate of degradation, against last month to see the direction of the trend, and against similar equipment to spot individual anomalies. That is why our data deliverables standardise fields and measurement methods from day one of the project, guaranteeing comparability over time - we don't hand over a pile of isolated numbers that can't be compared.

A complete baseline: At commissioning or first inspection, all key parameters - current, vibration, temperature, accuracy, cycle time - are measured in one go and archived as the equipment condition's "birth certificate."

Monthly reports with analysis: The monthly operating-data report is not just tables: it carries trend interpretation, flagged anomalies and recommendations for the next month, so managers read the conclusions while engineers read the data.

Consistent definitions: Metric definitions, measurement methods and statistical periods are documented in a definitions note at first delivery, so comparisons across months and across people are not distorted.

A closed feedback loop: Satisfaction and problem feedback are recorded item by item with responses on the outcome, and the feedback data in turn revises the service plan.

We have no full-time statistician - who records the data?

Data collection is designed as a by-product of the work itself: recorded in passing during inspections, carried on repair completion slips, and collected and compiled by us during inspection rounds for the monthly report. Your crews need no extra post for filling in forms - what reaches your hands is a report already compiled and analysed.
