Biomass pellet plant pelletisers run hot and wear fast; the die ring, press rollers and main shaft bearings are the frequent failure points, and a day of downtime means losses counted in tonnes.

We set up dedicated inspection and lubrication standards for the pellet mill: periodic die-roller gap checks, main-shaft bearing temperature monitoring, and lubricants selected for high-temperature duty.
Typical services: ring die and roller replacement with gap calibration, preventive replacement of main-shaft bearings, gearbox lubrication management, and dust control in electrical control cabinets.

FIELD · SCHH-2026In most cases bearing quality alone is not the cause: seal failure letting in abrasive dust, wrong grease selection or over-greasing, poor assembly practice, and load shocks stack up together. Simply fitting expensive bearings without treating the root causes will not extend life. Our approach is to check each factor in turn — sealing, grease selection, assembly tolerances, alignment — so one round of improvement lasts for the long term. That is exactly the path from 40 days to 9 months of bearing life.
Overhaul items are split by window length: everything that requires a shutdown (bearing replacement, gearbox strip-down, die-roller adjustment) goes inside the window, while online work (vibration and temperature measurement, oil sampling, electrical blow-down) is done outside it. The work list and spare parts list are complete before we mobilise, tasks run in parallel inside the window, and every hour is made to count as two.
