How assembly and commissioning are done

Unboxing inspection: the machine and accessories are checked against the packing list, transport damage is inspected for, and accompanying documents are counted and filed. Problems found are photographed, recorded and raised with the supplier on the spot - never left to argue about at start-up.

Mechanical assembly: components are assembled to the technical documents, critical joints tightened to standard torque, and drive components aligned. Original data is recorded during assembly, leaving a reference for future maintenance.

Electrical connection: drawings and terminals are verified, power and control circuits are laid separately, the earthing system is tested, and power is applied only after insulation tests pass. Energising proceeds in stages - no load, light load, full load - never all at once.

Single-machine commissioning: action cycle testing, verification of limits and protection functions, initial parameter setting. No-load running checks noise, temperature rise and vibration - every motion must reach its position accurately before it passes.

In-line commissioning: the machine is linked with upstream and downstream equipment and the whole process is run through with real material at real cycle times. Process parameters are guided remotely by the supplier and executed and verified by us on site, until qualified product is coming out and the cycle target is met.

Commissioning baseline file: acceptance data, baseline vibration and temperature, the wearing parts list and the fault code table are all filed. The data left by the installation and commissioning stage is used by maintenance for years afterwards.

Common Questions

If the supplier sends nobody, can you commission the machine on your own?

For most equipment, yes. With complete technical documents we carry out mechanical assembly, electrical connection and basic commissioning independently; process parameter settings are preferably guided remotely by the supplier (which also saves them travel costs). Where manufacturer-specific tools or encrypted parameters are genuinely required, we list them in writing for you to take up with the supplier - we do not stubbornly force it and waste time.

What if the supplier disowns the work after installation and commissioning?

That is exactly the value of the installation records: unpacking inspection, assembly data, commissioning records and acceptance sheets are all traced and signed by both parties. Where the problem is manufacturing quality, the records are the evidence for claiming against the supplier; where it lies in installation, we take responsibility. The interface is written into the agreement in advance - when something happens, the data speaks, and there is no wrangling.
