Dazhou

Dazhou (the old Daxian) grew its modern industry alongside resource development: oil and gas in the Xuanhan-Kaijiang belt has been explored and developed since the 1950s, making Dazhou one of Sichuan's main gas-producing areas. Under the Third Front programme the state sited steel (Dagang's forerunner), chemical and machinery enterprises in Dazhou, the "mountain-backed, dispersed" plants spread along the Zhou River. After reform and opening-up Dagang was restructured and expanded into the largest integrated steel enterprise in north-east Sichuan; gas chemicals (the Puguang field, proven in 2005 and developed by Sinopec) became the starting point of the national Sichuan-gas-eastward transmission, establishing Dazhou's standing as "China's gas capital".

In 2025 Dazhou's above-scale industrial value added grew steadily, with energy-chemicals the first pillar: the Puguang field holds stable output, and gas chemicals extend into the comprehensive utilisation of lithium-potassium resources (the Xuanhan Puguang lithium-potassium project, the Zhengdakai family) — seen as Dazhou's biggest increment for the coming decade; steel (the Dagang relocation-and-upgrade project is advancing), coal-fired power, new materials (basalt fibre) and farm-product processing advance together. The city is building the Wanda-Kai (Wanzhou-Dazhou-Kaizhou) Sichuan-Chongqing coordinated development demonstration zone.

Dazhou Iron & Steel Group (among Sichuan's top-100 enterprises), Sinopec's Puguang gas field (gas development), the Zhengdakai / Ganfeng Lithium families (Xuanhan lithium-potassium comprehensive utilisation), Sichuan's basalt-fibre industry family, and Huadian's Dazhou Power Plant.

Dazhou's demand concentrates on energy-chemical and steel plant. Maintenance of pumps, compressors, pipe racks and instrumentation on gas purification and chemical units is highly specialised, with concentrated overhaul windows; the steel relocation-and-rebuild (Dagang) brings large-scale equipment commissioning and start-up-period upkeep demand — golden orders for Module 06 (installation and commissioning) and Module 02 (preventive maintenance); upkeep of kilns and fibre-drawing equipment at new-materials plants such as basalt fibre is an emerging line. Our focus: taking commissioning on new chemical/steel projects, plant overhauls, and building maintenance systems at lithium-battery new-materials plants.
