Meishan

Meishan, anciently Meizhou, is the hometown of the Three Sus; its traditional economy rested on agriculture and trade, with a thin modern industrial base, and Third Front siting here was limited (a few small Third Front enterprises in Pengshan and Renshou). After reform and opening-up Meishan industrialised step by step on the pull of the Chengdu metropolitan circle: big projects such as Tongwei Solar's Meishan base (from 2019) and Shanshan's lithium-battery materials (from 2021) landed, and new energy and new materials grew from nothing into real force — making Meishan one of the fastest-industrialising emerging cities in Sichuan over the past decade.

In 2025 Meishan's above-scale industrial value-added growth ranked among the province's best, with new energy and new materials over half of output value: Tongwei Solar (Meishan) runs high-efficiency cells at full production, while Shanshan's lithium-battery materials (anode materials) and Wanhua Chemical (Meishan base, battery materials) have started up and scaled. Electronic information mainly supplies the Chengdu cluster; machinery and equipment, and pharma-foods (Qianhe Flavouring, Jixiangju and other condiments) develop steadily. The Tianfu New Area Meishan section is a provincial-level carrier.

Meishan is a classic "many new plants, much new equipment" market. PV cell and battery-materials factories are highly automated and run continuously, so demand concentrates on preventive-maintenance systems (Modules 01/02), equipment networking and data acquisition (Module 08), and resident commissioning with training handover; condiment firms give steady retrofit demand on filling and packaging lines; upkeep of machining equipment at CRRC Meishan is traditional work. Our focus: building maintenance systems at new-energy plants and taking their overhauls, automation retrofits on food packaging lines, and machine-tool accuracy maintenance.
