Luzhou

Luzhou has brewed for over a thousand years, and its Ming-dynasty 1573 national-treasure pit group has been in continuous use for more than four centuries; in the late Qing Luzhou was an important Chuanjiang port, prospering as a distribution hub for salt, liquor and medicinal herbs. During the war of resistance Luzhou carried Chuanjiang transport and military-supply production. Under the Third Front programme the city took in defence chemicals — led by the Luzhou North Chemical Industry Corporation (military propellant) — and machinery firms such as the Changjiang Crane Works and the Changjiang Excavator Works (known in history as the "Three Changs"), forming a "liquor + chemical-machinery" industrial structure. After reform and opening-up the Chang-excavator and Chang-crane plants were restructured, and liquor became the absolute pillar.

In 2025 Luzhou's liquor industry ranked among the top of all prefecture-level cities nationwide by revenue, with the twin leaders Luzhou Laojiao and Langjiu (Gulin) pulling clusters in packaging, glass and qu-making supply; energy and chemicals are advancing "Gasifying Luzhou" on the Luzhou shale-gas block and its chemical parks; equipment manufacturing (the Changjiang Machinery family, Aerospace Torch and others) is turning towards intelligence. Citywide above-scale industry grew steadily, with the Chengxi New Area and the High-tech Zone as the main industrial carriers.

Luzhou Laojiao (among Sichuan's top-100 enterprises), Langjiu Group (Gulin), Luzhou North Chemical (defence chemicals), Changjiang Crane / Changjiang Excavator (post-restructuring equipment firms), Lutianhua (fertiliser and chemicals), and Sichuan Aerospace Liaoyuan.

Luzhou's maintenance market unfolds along three lines — liquor, chemicals and machinery. At liquor firms, brewing shops (cranes, filling lines, qu-making equipment) and packaging lines carry heavy automation-retrofit demand; maintenance of rotating equipment, pressure vessels and pipe racks at chemical firms (Lutianhua, North Chemical) requires explosion-proof compliance experience; users of lifting machinery (Changjiang Crane products) spread across southern Sichuan, and their upkeep and mandatory annual-inspection rectification are steady work. Our focus: automation upgrades on liquor filling lines (Module 08), preventive maintenance on chemical plant (Module 02), and crane overhauls with safety rectification (Module 03).
