Jialing District

Named for the Jialing River running through it, the area was historically the south-bank wharf for Nanchong's river transport and salt-and-silk trade; after 1949 agricultural machinery, building materials and food processing plants were laid out here. In 2016 Geely's Sichuan commercial vehicle project landed in Jialing and went into production, making NEV commercial vehicle manufacturing the city's new calling card; the four OEM processes — stamping, welding, painting and final assembly — plus the parts supply chain formed quickly around the plant. Over the same period the Nanchong ETDZ was upgraded to national level and the biopharmaceutical park got under way.

In 2024 the Jialing biopharmaceutical park's output grew about 18%, and the auto and parts industry — supplying Chengdu-Chongqing OEMs — broke through CNY 8 billion in output. Complete vehicles, components, pharma and food firms cluster inside the Nanchong ETDZ, whose count of above-scale industrial enterprises ranks among the city's highest. The district keeps filling gaps and strengthening links along the NEV commercial vehicle chain, with stamping and welding suppliers still moving into the park.

Jialing is the market closest to complete-vehicle manufacturing for us: press banks at the OEM and its tier-one suppliers, welding robot cells, paint line conveyors and ovens, assembly line tightening and test equipment — a stoppage in any of them ripples down the whole chain, so response speed and repair quality matter enormously. That is exactly where our 25 years of continuous production line management experience pays off. Biopharma plants need validation-style maintenance with complete records for cleanroom HVAC, water systems and packaging lines; food and beverage plants have short seasonal shutdown windows for filling and sterilising equipment, which suit overhaul outsourcing scheduled in advance.
