Nanbu County

Nanbu has been a key Jialing River ferry point and salt centre since antiquity, with well-salt mining running over a thousand years; in modern times silk, brewing and ironware workshops lined the river. After 1949 salt chemicals, silk and agricultural machinery plants were established, and machinery suppliers moved in during the Third Front era. Reform and opening-up brought the salt chemical trade's transition and silk sector's restructuring; after 2010 the Nanbu ETDZ took off, absorbing electronic information industries shifting from the Pearl River Delta — Taiwanese-invested and coastal firms moving in and pulling the electronic component and machinery manufacturing clusters into shape.

In 2024 Nanbu's industrial investment kept growing fast, with the ETDZ's three pillars advancing together: electronic information (components, cables), food and pharma (grain and oil processing, prepared medicinal herbs), and machinery manufacturing (auto parts, valves). The county produces more than 15% of the city's grain, so grain-and-oil processors and feed mills keep renewing equipment.

Nanbu is the largest county market on our base's northern flank. Insertion and moulding equipment at ETDZ electronics plants and extrusion and stranding equipment at cable works run continuously, so downtime hits order delivery directly — acceptance of preventive maintenance outsourcing is high. At grain-oil and feed plants the crushing, pressing, extruding and conveying equipment works in heavy dust and wears fast, making lubrication management and wear-part replacement frequent business; machinery plants need dedicated machine-tool repair and accuracy restoration. Nanbu's firms are mid-sized with thin in-house maintenance crews, and most lean on OEM after-sales — slow response is the common pain point, which our two-hour arrival plus pre-positioned parts fills exactly.
