Yingshan County

Yingshan lies between Nanchong and Dazhou and was historically a rice-and-salt distribution point for north-east Sichuan; its modern industry centred on grain-oil processing and iron-and-wood farm tools. After 1949, agricultural machinery repair, silk and food processing plants were laid out; township enterprises were lively for a spell after reform and opening-up. The Yingshan ETDZ was founded in 2001 and, riding the "grid" junction of the Nan-Da-Liang, Ba-Nan-Guang and Ying-Da expressways with the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou high-speed line passing through, it absorbed machinery and auto parts industries shifting from Chengdu and Chongqing — Wusi Machinery, Aolong Foundry and others moved in, and machinery and auto parts became the county's industrial pillar.

In 2024 Yingshan attracted 18 new projects of over CNY 100 million each and industrial investment grew 16.5% — the fastest in the city. The ETDZ has 8.5 km² built up, 178 industrial tenants and 85 above-scale firms, forming the "4+1" system of machinery and auto parts, food processing, electronic information, new materials and modern logistics. The auto and motorcycle parts park and the innovation incubation park are in operation, and logistics park freight volume grew 12%.

Yingshan's maintenance demand carries one signature: new plants, new equipment, nobody to fix it. Machines at the new plants commissioned over the past two years are still in run-in, with leftover commissioning issues and early failures common — strong demand for installation, commissioning and on-site service (Module 06). At foundries the melting furnaces, sand preparation and shot blasting equipment work in brutal conditions with high electrical and hydraulic failure rates — the main battlefield for difficult-fault work. CNC turning, milling and pressing equipment at auto parts plants needs accuracy calibration and preventive maintenance; packaging and conveying lines at food and new materials firms suit annual inspection contracts. Yingshan is about 1.5 hours by road from our Yilong base, inside a same-day round-trip service ring.
