Banan District

Banan (the old Ba County) is Chongqing's mother county, its modern industry spread along the Yangtze. During wartime relocation a branch of the 21st Arsenal (one of Changan's forerunners), the Dajiang Machinery Works (tanks and armoured vehicles — the Third Front-era "Project 57") and others were sited in the Yudong-Huaxi belt, forming a defence-machinery corridor. Under the Third Front programme the Dajiang Vehicle Works (armoured vehicles) and the Chongqing Red Flag Gear Works grew strong. After reform and opening-up Zongshen motorcycles rose in Banan to become a leading private motorcycle maker nationwide (founded 1992, a global export leader in the 2000s), pulling hundreds of suppliers to cluster; the Yudong-Jieshi belt became the core of Chongqing's motorcycle and general-machinery industry.

In 2025 Banan's above-scale industry grew steadily. Motorcycles and general machinery (Zongshen Power: engines, motorcycles, general petrol engines, plus aviation piston engines and new-energy powertrains in the pipeline) keep a national lead; automobiles (the Dajiang family, turned to auto components and special vehicles) are steady; biopharmaceuticals (the Chongqing International Bio-City at Mudong in Banan) are growing fast, with vaccine, antibody and high-end formulation projects entering production in succession; intelligent equipment (CNC machine tools, robot supply) moves with electronic information (Jieshi).

Banan's maintenance demand runs on three lines — motorcycles, pharma and equipment. Motorcycle and general-machinery lines (machining, assembly, painting) hold large equipment counts, and upkeep of Zongshen-family machining centres and assembly lines is core business; cleanroom facilities (purification HVAC, pure water, compressed air) and production equipment (filling, freeze-drying, packaging lines) at Bio-City pharma firms carry high upkeep requirements and strong stickiness; accuracy maintenance at CNC machine-tool and robot-supply firms is steady. Our focus: outsourced machining and assembly-line upkeep at motorcycle makers, Bio-City cleanroom and line upkeep, and accuracy calibration across machine-tool fleets.
