Bishan District

Bishan was traditionally an agricultural county (a "famous town of Ba-Yu") with a thin industrial base. In the 1990s Bishan started with leather shoes and vehicle-motorcycle component processing, and a private machinery-supply belt formed in the Qinggang-Laifeng area. The turning point came in the 2010s: the Bishan Tunnel (opened 2012) collapsed the distance to Chongqing's urban core, and from 2018 BYD FinDreams Battery's Bishan base (blade batteries) landed and expanded in phases, becoming a landmark project of Chongqing's new-energy industry; the Chongqing SkyShuttle (opened 2021, the world's first SkyShuttle demonstration line) pulled in rail-transit equipment and smart-transport industries. Bishan thereby leapt from a traditional supply county into a new-energy and intelligent-equipment city.

In 2025 Bishan's above-scale industry grew fast. FinDreams Battery (blade batteries) runs its successive projects at full production, pulling battery-material, structural-part and equipment suppliers to cluster; electronic information (laptop components, new-display supply) is steady; intelligent equipment (CNC machine tools, industrial robots, moulds) develops alongside automotive electronics; rail transit (the SkyShuttle chain, rail-transit equipment supply) is a speciality industry; and the Bishan High-tech Zone is a national-level carrier.

FinDreams Battery (BYD family, the blade-battery base), the Bishan High-tech Zone electronic-information cluster, CNC machine-tool and robot suppliers, SkyShuttle chain firms, and the vehicle-motorcycle component supply cluster.

Bishan's maintenance demand follows the new-energy and electronics thread. Battery plants' coating, roll-pressing, stacking, electrolyte-filling and formation-grading equipment is highly automated with strict cleanroom and dry-room requirements, so upkeep and process-equipment retrofit demand is heavy; outsourced upkeep of SMT and precision assembly equipment at electronics plants is steady; equipment accuracy maintenance and test-bench calibration at machine-tool and robot firms are specialised; and upkeep of the M&E equipment of SkyShuttle and rail facilities (power supply, signalling auxiliaries, depot equipment) is a speciality increment. Our focus: outsourced battery-line upkeep and retrofits, annual equipment upkeep at electronics plants, and accuracy calibration across machine-tool fleets.
