Liangping District

Liangping (the old Liangshan) holds the largest flat plain in eastern Sichuan's parallel ridge-and-valley country (the Liangping basin), with developed traditional agriculture; modern industry began in grain-and-oil processing, papermaking (Liangping bamboo paper is an intangible cultural heritage) and small machinery. The Third Front era left a few supply points. After reform and opening-up Liangping's main industries were food (tofu skin, pomelo, grain and oil) and building materials; in the 2010s, on the Yu-Wan high-speed railway and expressway, construction of the Liangping High-tech Zone (Shuanggui New Town) accelerated, taking in relocated electronic information and intelligent equipment; in recent years IC materials (semiconductor supply materials and components) have been laid out, making Liangping a rare IC industry node in north-east Chongqing.

In 2025 Liangping's above-scale industry grew steadily. IC materials and electronic components (semiconductor supply, PCB and component projects) are emerging growth points; consumer-goods industry (food, grain and oil, tofu skin and other local specialities at scale) stays stable; intelligent equipment (CNC machine tools, moulds, automation) and new materials are forming a system; and modern agriculture (Liangping pomelo, rice-fish farming) moves with tourism (Shuanggui Hall, the Hundred-Li Bamboo Sea). The Liangping High-tech Zone is the main carrier, building a pioneer zone of high-quality development in north-east Chongqing.

The Liangping High-tech Zone IC-materials and components cluster, the food and grain-oil processing group (local specialities at scale), CNC machine-tool and mould firms, new-materials project owners, and the operators of Shuanggui Hall and the Hundred-Li Bamboo Sea.

Liangping's maintenance demand centres on new-build electronics and light industry. Cleanroom facilities (purification HVAC, pure water, specialty gases, waste-liquid treatment) and production-equipment upkeep at IC-materials and component projects carry a high professional bar and strong stickiness; upkeep and automation retrofits of washing, cooking and packaging equipment at food plants (grain and oil, tofu skin) are continuous; accuracy maintenance at machine-tool and mould firms is steady; and there are many M&E package orders for newly built plants. Our focus: electronics cleanroom and line upkeep, food-line automation retrofits, and plant M&E package works.
