Jiangbei District

Jiangbei's industry began on the Yangtze waterway: in the late Qing and Republican periods machinery and textile factories were set up along the Cuntan-Tangjiatuo riverfront; during wartime relocation Jiangbei County (today's Jiangbei and Yubei) took in several ordnance and machinery firms, with parts of the 21st Arsenal (one of Changan's forerunners) sited along the river. Under the Third Front programme the Gangcheng industry spread along the Yangtze. After reform and opening-up Changan-family vehicle and engine plants kept expanding in the Yuzui-Fusheng belt, Guanyinqiao rose to become Chongqing's premier business district, and the Jiangbeizui CBD has been under construction since 2003 — forming a "finance + manufacturing + commerce" triad.

In 2025 Jiangbei's economic output was about CNY 178.3 billion. Jiangbeizui gathers more than 80% of the city's regional financial-institution headquarters, with financial value added leading citywide; the auto industry in the Yuzui-Gangcheng belt (Changan-family vehicles and engines, NEV models being introduced) and electronic information (the Haier-family smart-home interconnected plant in the Gangcheng Industrial Park) stayed stable; the Guanyinqiao district kept expanding, and commerce and services contributed prominently.

Changan's Yuzui base (vehicles and engines), Haier Chongqing (the interconnected plant in the Gangcheng Industrial Park), the Jiangbeizui financial-institution cluster, the Seres supply family (in Liangjiang coordination), and the commerce group of the Guanyinqiao district.

Jiangbei's maintenance demand runs on two lines. Upkeep of stamping, welding and painting equipment at the vehicle plant (Yuzui base) and accuracy maintenance on engine machining lines are core business; demand is steady for assembly lines, test equipment and industrial-internet retrofits at Haier-family smart-appliance plants; M&E O&M across towers and commercial complexes is large and broad. Our focus: outsourced equipment upkeep at vehicle and engine plants, automation upgrades on appliance assembly lines (Module 08), and packaged M&E upkeep for commercial buildings.
